The trend of year over year increases in charitable work by Home Care Ontario members continues. In 2014, Association members in total contributed approximately $950,000 to local causes, charities, disaster relief and families in need. The graphic depicts the long list of organizations supported by members. In addition to financial support, Home Care Ontario members donated approximately 440,000 pounds of food, tens of thousands of toys and gifts. Members sponsor conferences, serve on boards and committees, participate in various organizational and community led initiatives, and provide staff with paid time to pursue causes and directly fund services to those in need.
